Hello! I featured this dress on my Stories the other day and it seems many of you are women after my own puritanical heart 😝 Three gazillion of you said ‘oooh I love it, but how would you wear it? Isn’t it a bit low?’ 🍈🍈 And the answer to that, for me, is yes it is! While I appreciate a woman with a bodacious bod as much as the next, I’m not mega comfortable showing off masses of flesh myself. No one really needs to see my child-addled cleavage, or indeed the side rolls. Not even me, to be honest. But what I am saying is, don’t be scared by a beautiful, yet low-fronted dress! The answer to our non-cleavage-showing (‘flaunting’ in Daily Mail speak!) desires is all about The Layering. On holiday, or a sunny picnic, I’ll dress this down with a black vest underneath and flat sandals. For more of an event, I’ll wear it like this, with a cream and black floral lace blouse underneath and red heels. The important bit when layering like this is to make sure the colour tones are the same - so make sure it’s cream rather than white, for example. It just looks more sophisticated that way. It would equally work with a tee shirt underneath that is the same colour as the cream, or a simple black one. Annoyingly, I know this dress has sold out on Topshop (there are apparently lots in stores and some on eBay), so this is more of a general styling guide to how to make a very low fronted dress a bit more versatile. BUT!! I have one to ❗️GIVEAWAY ❗️It’s a size 16 (probably a 14 in Topshop sizing!) and if you’d like it, leave me a comment saying why you need it! I’ll get someone (my children or my husband) to pick a winner at random and send it off to you. Then you can go crazy deciding how to wear it yourself! ⚪️⚫️ CREDITS: Dress, Topshop | Blouse, Sézane | Shoes, Debenhams | Earrings, Jack & Freda (gift) | Tap for brand details #editedmirrorshot UPDATE: THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED! I WISH I HAD ENOUGH FOR ALL OF YOU X
